This is a growing Canadian activewear brand building a product line focused on modest, Muslim-inspired sportswear. Like many emerging apparel founders, they faced several common pain points before partnering with us.
Modest activewear is a special niche. It requires a careful balance: fabrics must be stretchy, breathable and functional for workouts, while the silhouette needs to fit modest dressing requirements. It can be difficult for new brands to find a manufacturer who truly understands this unique design brief.
Most importantly, they did not want to risk a large upfront bulk order without verifying quality first. Their priority was to test samples, check fabric handfeel, confirm colour matching and validate the fit before committing to mass production. They also needed ready-to-use visual assets for their Instagram marketing, to help them showcase new products to their audience.
We started the project with sample development, keeping transparent communication every step of the way. Throughout sampling and pre-production preparation, we shared short video clips of fabric stock, cutting work and packing progress.
We also arranged model photoshoots for the approved styles, delivering finished imagery that the brand could directly upload to their Instagram feed — exactly what they needed for their DTC social commerce strategy.

Once the samples arrived in Canada, our client reviewed every detail carefully. They were delighted with both the fabric performance and the overall style of the modest activewear pieces. The colour palette exceeded their expectations, and the construction quality met their brand standard.
With sample quality fully approved, the project moved forward into bulk manufacturing. The final confirmed order is 7 different designs, 300 pieces per style.
